I've always said if there's one thing that shows the kind of gravitas necessary to be president, it's announcing your run on a show called "Celebrity Apprentice."
Read the article if you really want to get a chuckle. I love the way conservatives are twisting themselves into a pretzel to justify Trump's candidacy. Newsmax is way conservative. It couldn't be more right wing if it tried. It's notoriously "out there" on some issues--so much so that they aren't even quoted directly as a source by mainstream conservatives because they would be laughed out of the room.
But they do serve a purpose, and this article is a good example.
This article is a how-to-justify-him piece, based on conservative principles. Yes, he hasn't sounded like a conservative his entire life, but (wink, wink) people that know him say he has always been one secretly. Sure, he's a celebrity, but he doesn't drink (wink, wink) so he's not like those other celebrities. Yes, he's had a few female issues (wink, wink), but he's always been a model father.
