How deep is the doo doo that Rupert Murdoch's News of the World is standing in? They are offering victims of their phone hacking a settlement of $33 million, and it looks like the victims are going to reject the offer.

And that's just the civil portion of this case. It has nothing to do with the criminal charges against three of the people that work at the newspaper.
