Anytime you look at the ratings for cable news, it's impossible not to notice the dominance of Fox News. They trounce all comers, sometimes getting as many viewers as the rest of the cable newsers combined (although...would you believe Jon Stewart now has higher ratings than every Fox show but Bill O'Reilly?).
CNN is consistently in third place in the cable news ratings race, and sometimes it's a very distant third. But while they are getting trounced in the TV ratings, they have a secret weapon that will hold them in good stead for the future.
They are crushing the competition on the internet.
